Frantz Fanon's The Wretched of the Earth

John Smith - Imperialism in the 21st century. At least for imperialism in it's modern incarnation. Some other books:

  • Settlers
  • an indigenous peoples history of the US.
  • killing hope
  • the black jacobins
  • galeano - open veins of latin america
  • losurdo - liberalism, a counter history

Walter Rodney's How Europe Underdeveloped Africa was especially enlightening for me. His other works, along with Frantz Fanon's body of work, are essential reading imo

Neo-colonialism by Fanon is a great book! I really need to get around to reading the rest of his body of work.
