Obtainium is pretty useful too, a lot of my apps are pulled straight from GitHub releases.

Also, not all apps are on F-Droid, so some of them need to be installed from Git. Obtainium is brilliant for that.

I love obtainium, but it's not for ease of use, and most people might not want to mess with it. fdroid and droidify are simple to install and use

Oh man, I use Organic Maps on Arch on my desktop; never knew there was an Android version and always used OsmAnd~.

Screw google for this, at least organic maps is still available on fdroid.
