So.. the adware/malware company Amazon is selling PCs with malware while deleting reviews that warms about the malware. And the lesson he learned is that he should only buy from reputable retailers like Amazon?

ok? They're not manufacturing the PC but they're selling malware, advertising malware, profiting from malware and censuring warnings about malware.

I had to go back and listen again to what he was saying about his friend who installed Linux and found the malware as well. That user had installed Linux on a different SSD than what had shipped with the device, and upon scanning the original SSD with Windows on it, they found the malware there. Whew, good to know it is not something in the firmware pushing the malware to whatever OS you run on it.
