So I am guessing it is official that Ukraine SOF is now balls deep operating in Africa now?

I guess that's the cost of having NATO/French SOF operating in Ukraine. Shit aint free.

Still a bizarre timelines here

Lmao if you think Macron has the balls to send our army do black ops against Russia you are severely deluded

[–] [email protected] 0 points 3 months ago

Uhm.. why would you think that France will not do these things. Russia is actively sawing at the legs of France's empire in Africa. Via Wagner Russia is already in open hostilities with France. A lot of people are just not paying attention to that. I can't imagine troops deployed in country where they can get caught easily, but programming scalp missiles, direct liaison to NATO, advisory roles, hell even manning artillery or AA weapons behind the lines. much is possible.

We know that for a while now. Not sure what stupid shit you're insinuating in your second paragraph there but of course Ukraine is going to disrupt Russian operations everywhere they can now.

France and other nato countries have special operation units within ukraine lol

literally said it up there too, learn to read dear

France and UK have engineers for their Storm Shadow / Scalp missiles. That doesn't answer your mental gymnastics as to what this has to do with Ukraine sabotaging Russian operations in Russia though.

How about you grow the fuck up, dear? If you want me to spent time deciphering your text diarrhea that reflects your short circuited half thoughts, then maybe learn some proper punctuation and grammar so you can form sentences that are coherent and informative towards the poor readers. And even then you should question why someone should give your stupid propaganda shit, that you're spewing for quite a while now, even a second thought.

people can make up their own minds... this is a public discussion board.

but you seem triggered ;) chill out, touch some grass or some shit

Expected response from a propaganda troll.

Block them and move on, no engagement will be far worse for them than negative responses.

I'd rather not leave people spreading disinformation unchallenged / unchecked. Someone else might read their comments and think that's the right opinion to have.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 3 months ago (1 children)

It's technically not disinformation. Just a flawed conclusion. Politely pointing out alternative, more accurate, ways to look at it is the recommended method.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 3 months ago

Given their previous bullshit comments I'm very much convinced that it is indeed disinformation. They're certainly not acting in good faith with their arguments.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Oh absolutely report them first, but remember, a simple downvote and then (report+block) means they're shouting into the abyss.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 3 months ago

I rarely report people anymore, especially on communities that don't even state any rules at all. I pretty much blocked all direct news communities due to them ignoring Tankies & disinformation within the comments, arguing they cannot fact check everything. And yes, I get that. But there's been so much obvious ones that I cannot support moderation on this platform in good faith anymore. Especially when some mods end up threatening me with a ban for reporting people, since reports here are not anonymous.

Seems more likely to me that Ukrainian forces are just seeking any way they can to hurt Russian forces. If Russian mercenaries are making money that funds the invasion of Ukraine and making allies for the Russian government by fighting in Africa and the Middle East, it makes sense for Ukraine to attempt to counter that where they can. It's also pretty reasonable for Azawad fighters to see Ukraine as an ally given that they're fighting a Russian-backed government employing Russian mercenaries.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Not just money, there's a risk that if Wagner is successful there, they could start recruiting from there more soldiers to send to Ukraine.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 3 months ago

And conversely, if the Russians are having trouble in Mali they might have to send more resources there. That means less for deployment to Ukraine.

Basically, it's all one big military. Hurt it where it's weakest and that pain is felt everywhere.
