Why though? Glover is cool.

He’s not too happy that his parents named him “Don Glover” (dong lover) though.

One man's dong lover is another man's Don G. Lover...

for some reason Donald Trump doesn't go in the category of "people named Donald" in my head. like Tom Cruise, he's not a Tom, or a Thomas, he's always Tom Cruise.

when I hear somebody else's first name is donald, it doesn't make me think of him

What about Donald Fuck?

[–] [email protected] 7 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Not at this time, but if he were to create such damage that it impacts a generation and unanimously agreed as a villain then at that point the name Donald will be associated with him. Ex: the name Adolf is associated with Adolf Hitler.

yeah but that happened like once

Osama and Mao, but yes it's increasingly rare. I think we tend to associate historic people with their last names more than their first names.

I keep forgetting that Asia mostly have the family name first. But Osama still stands.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 3 months ago

yeah, for most of the western world that was the first time we'd heard that name.

Yeah, but it makes me think about Donald Duck

[–] [email protected] 1 points 3 months ago

I think of a rarely seen side character from a rather obscure British sitcom

Last few years, but named Donald? They were horny for Trump. Last few decades? Still could be horny for Trump @_@!

They'll make lovely couples with the girls named Khaleesi

It was a perfectly good name until that no-talent ass-clown ran for president.

[–] [email protected] 7 points 3 months ago

Why should I change my name, he's the one who sucks

[–] [email protected] 7 points 3 months ago

Nice. Office Space reference.
