I'm going to have to have a word with the MIL about taking the kids out during the day.

The point is to get them to sleep. One only slept when they got back, and the other didn't sleep at all and had a nap from 5-8, meaning I only got the two of them down now.

Not to mention driving all over Melbourne with them and getting toys they don't need from op shops. I'd be fine with that but they're always cheap remote control cars without the remote,so they don't work properly and are full of tiny parts if they ever break

With the olympics coming up thought Iโ€™d check what time the opening ceremony is. 3:30am Saturday. Yeah nah. Iโ€™ll catch the highlights on the news.

I did this exact same check tonight and same opinion. The timezone isn't great for seeing any of the bigger events live. Not going to be like Tokyo.

Tokyo was practically our time zone plus we were in lockdown, I've never olympicked so hard. This year might be some highlights and a few heats.

Thereโ€™s a good chance of them replaying the ceremony as theyโ€™ve done that in the past if memory serves me right.

You might even be able to replay it on the 9 website as well.

The fact that I've used my split system more for heating than I ever have for cooling really says a lot about Melbourne's climate.

I wonder when this boy is going to come back. 2018/19 were fun, I remember it hitting 30 (or close to it) by 9am once. That was fun

That was pretty good.

It's a silent movie.
