And also

When Crooks was 17, he made a $15 donation to ActBlue, a political action committee that raises money for left-leaning and Democratic politicians, according to a 2021 Federal Election Commission filing. The donation was earmarked for the Progressive Turnout Project, a national group that rallies Democrats to vote. The groups did not immediately respond to a Reuters request for comment.

Because that’s the wrong guy… shooter was Matthew Crooks of the same zip code. Thomas Crooks is alive and was posting on twitter last night after the rally with a video of himself saying he obviously didn’t do it

LOL

It's not good because in modern society if it's known to more than a small group then it's systemically prevented from positive consequences for the humans involved. But, even if you believe that, no one will believe us because we can't predict future nuance to their liking. Someone is looking at shadows on the wall. And, we all think we've got a good flashlight.

A prediction: Trump smacked a blood packet to his ear in a staged assanation that'll be public knowledge in less than a year. It's the shallow and desperate act of ego without the balance of reason and emotion.

And the dead kid signed up for this plan knowing they'd be killed? I weep for how unintelligent the left apparently also is.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 month ago (1 children)

You need not weep for those willing to die for their principles. They've little value for your lukewarm understanding.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Maybe read that again. I'm sad there's so many morons on Lemmy. I honestly wasn't aware until this shooting happened. The problem is BAD

[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago) (1 children)

Read it again.

Worse than the idiots are the ones who believe themselves intelligent.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 month ago

I don't think we need to argue about who is smarter. You are immediately able to believe a buffoon planned and executed a conspiracy flawlessly. Kind of speaks for itself. I have so little respect for this platform after seeing this idiocy spread like wildfire.

They interviewed several neighbors who said they were also planning on attending the rally if it wasn't so hot out. I see why the guy did it, he was surrounded by people who support Trump.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 month ago

Reuters confirms he's a registered republican, for what it's worth

[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 month ago (1 children)

The address is visible. By now you dumbasses should know Reddit's strict doxxing rules but I guess [email protected] follows the tradition from /r/facepalm by posting stuff that's just a facepalm for the submitter.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago) (4 children)

quit acting dramatic it's not precise

[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 month ago

It takes basically no effort to properly censor things. You left the 9-digit ZIP code in there, which identifies the exact building.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 month ago

A nine digit zip code is incredibly precise.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 month ago (2 children)

It is precise. The censoring over the address is very poorly done, I was able to find it in less than a minute on google maps.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 month ago

That's i.pressive. I can't see shit.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 month ago
[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Oh yeah. I'm the dramatic one, says the guy crying about Reddit removing doxxing posts. lol

[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 month ago (2 children)

what are you talking about?

[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 month ago (1 children)

I'm speaking pretty simple English. What part of my comment are you struggling with?

[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 month ago (1 children)

and where did i "cry" about reddit removing posts?

[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 month ago

In your title.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 month ago (1 children)

They’re talking about your post. You didn’t just upload a screenshot of the information about the shooter. You uploaded a screenshot of the Reddit post and then titled it in reference to being removed there. Your post is not about the event, your post is whinging that Reddit removed it because it was poorly censored. Your post is very clearly trying to use the tactic of ‘look at this, the powers don’t want you to see this!’ Which is pretty lame considering the context.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 month ago (1 children)

You're trying to hard for someone who's clearly arguing in bad faith. I even saw the removed reddit post in question, which had comments pointing to this thread here. And the funny part? Right below it was a news article about the shooter being republican - of course not removed.

I'm first in line to shit on Reddit, but this ain't it.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Saying he was a Republican and giving his address information are very different.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 month ago

Yes, that's what I'm saying. Thanks for explaining my comment to myself.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 month ago

He knew! All the crooks are after him

[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 month ago (2 children)

Do you have to blank out the address of a dead man? It's not like someone is going to track him down and kill him.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Family of said person, no?

[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 month ago

Fuck. I'm stupid. Delete.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 month ago

What about his family at the address?

[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Context, 20yesr old voting in first election where being registered Republican was the only way to vote in a primary that has any relevance.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 month ago (1 children)

He didn't vote this year, so he was, what, voting against Oz in the PA Republican senate primary?

[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 month ago

We don't know and may never. It doesn't matter as party affiliation entirely fails to grasp any human element, let alone the nuance of any individual, let alone an individual who's capable of rationalizing meaning in martyrdom.

But, sure, that seems plausible.

Pigboy steve is really mask off these days eh?
