Everytime I go to post an image I get this error.

To workaround, I have started waiting for the media browser to finish loading, then I count to three, and it usually works with the three seconds, but not always.

Had this issue. Happens to me when using the image selector that pops up. However, it works fine if I access the files and select the image from there.

Any idea if there's a way to default to this other method?

I haven't found a way to default to it really.

Yesterday I had an upload fail. The error made it sound like it was impossible to upload images to said community. I waited ten seconds, tried again, and it worked.

I don't think Voyager can do anything about it.

That's unfortunate.

I think it is instance related. I just grabbed this and it posted right away. No error.

No matter how long I wait I cannot post an image in a comment.

Probably lemmy.world servers were struggling. If it keeps on happening make an alt on something that accepts images straight away (I think slrpnk.net does) and test there via voyager.

It's a NSFW instance where this primarily comes up.

With a NSFW account? Because all posts including uploads go first to your own instance and are federated over a few seconds later.

Yes an account on that instance

Same error when I tried to reply with a photo upload. Worked after a moment of waiting.
