Russia is butthurt? For starters, they should leave Ukraine. And sanctions will stay until they choose otherwise. It's on Russians to decide what to do with their country.

@Reptorian @Burstar Hmm, you'd think it would dawn on somebody (hint) that "maybe' it is a bad idea to try to go take somebody else's country away from them "because" somewhere in the history books it "used to" belong to Russia was a bad idea?🤔 Asking for several million Ukrainians.

That’s it support Ukraine with everything they ask for. Make sure the east and Crimea are returned.

After all, they - the U.S. and its crappy allies - have declared a war on us without rules!

How about that "no nukes" rule tho

For the context: Medvedev is mostly regarded as a pro-Kremlin clown when it comes to his statements. Barely anyone takes him seriously at this point, with cringe statements no one follows through.

Hol up, you're saying the ex president and prime minister of Russia is PRO Kremlin?

What will they come up with next?

Pro Washington US Presidents?

Nah, pro-Kremlin wasn't the main focus here. Obviously he is.

The main focus is that he made a lot of shocking statements, none of which came to any sort of fruition.

Sorry if that was unclear.

if russian people follow through this will finally silence the last western politicians arguing to not be so hard on russia.

Nah. Still plenty of Russian money in the EU funding right wing politicians.

I have a prediction:

  • this will incite random Russians to do shitty/violent/terroristical things in “enemy countries”
  • Russia will claim tHaT’s nOT WhAT wE mEAnT (it is what they meant)
  • countries will clamp down even further on Russian immigration; law enforcement agencies will surveil and detain Russian nationals who are engaging in such actions; citizenry the world over will become more hostile to Russians
  • Russia will try to use this as a geopolitical diplomatic lever at best and a casus belli at worst

It is, after all, literally what they did to Ukraine from 2014 onwards.

Dmitry Medvedev, deputy chairman of Russia's Security Council, wrote on his official Telegram channel

"Every day we should try to do maximum harm to those countries that have imposed these restrictions. Harm their economies, their institutions and their rulers. Harm the well-being of their citizens, their confidence in the future."

I sense between the lines that some high up Russians are getting tired of this war, and because it's a death sentence to criticize Putin, they lash out at those pesky foreigners. But maybe I'm over interpreting?

Hey Russia! You can stop all these problems now, all you have to do is pull out of occupied territories of Ukraine. It is really that easy!
