I love America for being so strong to allow us to burn the American flag in public as protected free speech which many other countries do not allow. Not legal in Israel, Iran, Ukraine, China, or Russia. I'm grateful my country is green in this case.
I kind of understand why it's forbidden in the axis countries.
Woah be careful with that. Fire is dangerous!
It's so hard to differenciate manipulators from plain idiots 😔
I've never seen one outside of a hotel before. Is it behind the fire?
Hey man, just edit your title to OC. Thanks.
Like "NYC, USA - Today (OC)"?
You got it.
Done, thanks
Protected speech bitches.
Edit: let me clarify, as someone who has served under that flag I fully support people's right to burn it to show their frustrations with our system. Burning the flag is a very powerful statement and in an ideal world we would find out why the flag is being burnt and attempt to address the grievance though I doubt that actually happens.
Maybe add a comma after "protected speech", I understood it as you saying that these are people abusing free speech.
I fully agree with you
Yeah nothing will happen. We've had a lot of marches and protests looking for positive, meaningful changes that amounted to fuck all in this country.
Ding ding ding. Anyone who claims to love this country but thinks this should be illegal is outright lying, and they can go fuck themselves. This is one of our most fundamental rights.
Same here. I served for a lot of self serving reasons, but I also served for our ideals. Speech was one of em.
I never enjoy seeing it though.
