At least it isn't that horrific game where you have to remember and repeat the name and fact about everyone whose turn came before you. That shit was torture.

Telephone? I remember 1 job that did introductions that way in training, and it only kinda made sense because it was for being a relay operator. Repeating back what someone said verbatim was the whole job.

Everyone in the circle, consecutively: “A little bit about yourself!”

Okay, this got me to laugh.

My autistic ass would be nervous as hell but wanting to infodump at the same time.

Good news! Everyday it's a new circle of people, you're always the last person to introduce yourself and the day ends with small talk where you are expected to remember things and names that were mentioned before.

You go first. If you only share a little, everyone else shares a lot. If you share a lot, everyone else only shares a little.

Always volunteer to go first. You set the tone, and you get to sit in judgement while everyone else wigs out worrying about what they will say.

I run training sessions twice per week, we start and end each session like this. Once you learn to trust the group, its a pleasant experience!

Good lord, hell no, what are you training people in?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 5 months ago

As soon as you're done the scene repeats. Welcome to hell...

You'd end up acquainted with the people so it wouldn't be so bad after a while

But first, play the name game! Everyone take turns trying to remember Everyone else's name!

First person, introduce yourself. Second person, introduce yourself and first person. Etc.
