I’m fine with tick tock dying, just make it quick.

Nothing of value is being created there except massive amounts of data to be sold by the owners.

The fact that a platform as popular as TikTok can be compromised in such a manner raises concerns about the safety of user data and the broader cybersecurity landscape.

I wouldn’t be surprised if this was orchestrated by a western state to further undermine the tok’s credibility in the face of government bans.

Sure it's possible, but it could just as easily be someone who wants to hack a platform with hundreds of millions of users.
