The more this goes, the more I want to save the game somewhere and look what happens if he wins

Imagine inauguration in jail, and President ruling the country from the cell

The fun part is he doesn’t need to be okay with the punishments the court deems necessary. In fact, it’s better if he doesn’t like the outcome as it will dissuade him, possibly, from doing the same thing again. He got away with being a shitty commercial property developer because he never faced and repercussions. So he just kept doing it until he ruined his reputation with every contractor in the city.

please go to jail. I want to see him without his makeup crew

The world must have gone completely topsy-turvy because I agree with Trump; I am also ok with him going to jail.

For a moment I thought this was some clever word play so he could later say he was okay with jail and not Prison, but he is absolutely not that clever or precise in his vocabulary.

Rot in a cell

Yeah... house arrest in Mar-a-lago... i'd expect everyone everywhere would be ok with indefinite house arrest there as long as Trump wasn't there

Ok, cool, jail it is. A huge W for America.

Be funny if the judge reads that to him at sentencing.

I wonder if the Trump huffers will change their tune when photos of a pale, obese old man with that one hair dangling down his neck get published.

Felonies in New York, does that mean Rikers? Asking for a friend

[–] [email protected] 9 points 5 months ago* (last edited 5 months ago) (1 children)

Rikers is a jail which means it houses three groups. Those are pretrial detainee, people convicted of misdemeanors (crimes punishable by up to a year), or people convicted of felonies (crimes punishable by more than a year) but who were sentenced to less than a year.

If he is sentenced to incarceration for over a year, Trump would go to one of New York's prisons. If under a year, he could go to a jail like Rikers.

*edit to fix horrible phrasing.

or felonies (punishable by more than a year) but sentenced to less than a year If sentenced to incarceration for over a year

I had to read this 4 times to finally realize there's a missing period that makes it make sense.

Ok, sure. He lists his properties as private residences so give him the choice to travel between any of his properties but while under house arrest visitors must me excluded and go by the same rules as any other person visitor of granted access.

He'll get house arrest but he'll lose all his businesses.
