Given the media storm she is creating right now I can see why they would want to keep her quiet for as long as possible.
How can they select her when she is publicly criticising the party leader and processes at the worst possible time.
General Discussion for politics in the UK.
Please don't post to both [email protected] and [email protected] .
Pick the most appropriate, and put it there.
Posts should be related to UK-centric politics, and should be either a link to a reputable news source for news, or a text post on this community.
Opinion pieces are also allowed, provided they are not misleading/misrepresented/drivel, and have proper sources.
If you think "reputable news source" needs some definition, by all means start a meta thread. (These things should be publicly discussed)
Posts should be manually submitted, not by bot. Link titles should not be editorialised.
Disappointing comments will generally be left to fester in ratio, outright horrible comments will be removed.
Message the mods if you feel something really should be removed, or if a user seems to have a pattern of awful comments.
[email protected] appears to have vanished! We can still see cached content from this link, but goodbye I guess! :'(

Her being in news right now is entirely due to Labour dragging out her suspension for as long as possible. They could have restored the whip 5 months ago and avoided this mess entirely.
She did attack the Labour Party and Kier on Twitter last September saying her suspension for antisemitic remarks was “fraudulent”.
She can’t air grievances in public and expect that not to affect the outcome.
Then why not block her from standing months ago? Either get rid of her or don’t. I can’t see how this media shit storm isn’t entirely self inflicted.
Well some reports suggest they were trying to suggest she retire at the next election, looking at her decision making over the last 12 months it might be a good idea.
