That poor dog and poor cat usually ended up locked in her tiny bedroom in our 3br apartment all day

Not picking up on it at all either. It all looks too close to "on model". It looks like SM64 to me, and created using the game itself or rendered with assets from it. That game has been thoroughly broken wide open these days.
