Heavy metal. Lately it's been Vektor. Super intense futuristic prog-thrash. Pantera and Slayer have often been in the playlist, honorable mention to Metallica and Voivod.

I appreciate the poster who said they listen to classical music so they can focus on form instead of rage-lifting. I might try that some time. Not today though.

Edit:

In the replies I see lots of playlists from [the one music steaming pile to rule them all] and I'd like to say that I buy albums and play them on a music playing app (Neutron in my case). Mentioning just to balance the replies. Not everything needs to be an ad for [the one steaming pile of music]

I listen to classical music while lifting. It helps me focus on my form instead of just rage-lifting.

Actually Beethoven's 9th second movement is motivating to listen to while doing cardio

I have 3 Spotify playlists that I put together for running. The main one is about 250 songs and a mix of up tempo music - mostly rock from 1960-2000. Then I have shorter lists of up tempo hip hop and weird al.

I love listening to heavy dark techno, really gets me going. I use the Techno Bunker playlist on Spotify, it automixes it as well so there aren't any awkward gaps

Any kind of faster music that keeps up the tempo. Two Door Cinema Club has been a go-to.
