Why are they pointing out the man's race if racism wasn't a factor?

5. Only recent news is allowed.
Posts must be news from the most recent 30 days.
6. All posts must be news articles.
No opinion pieces, Listicles, editorials or celebrity gossip is allowed. All posts will be judged on a case-by-case basis.
7. No duplicate posts.
If a source you used was already posted by someone else, the autoMod will leave a message. Please remove your post if the autoMod is correct. If the post that matches your post is very old, we refer you to rule 5.
8. Misinformation is prohibited.
Misinformation / propaganda is strictly prohibited. Any comment or post containing or linking to misinformation will be removed. If you feel that your post has been removed in error, credible sources must be provided.
9. No link shorteners.
The auto mod will contact you if a link shortener is detected, please delete your post if they are right.
10. Don't copy entire article in your post body
For copyright reasons, you are not allowed to copy an entire article into your post body. This is an instance wide rule, that is strictly enforced in this community.
First, my idiot brain ignored the "Family of" at the start of the headline and got me quite confused: is this The Onion? But what's the joke? ... x_x

Ok, but why? No explanation in the article what-so-ever.
The read more button doesn't work for me but since they were removed during autopsy I guess they just got put into a container after being processed but not listed with the bits to be forwarded to the funeral home.
The article says bin but I don't think they're talking about a trash bin, probably a lidded plastic container in the correct storage area.
There are lots of stories like this and there's basically never an explanation of why. Apparently some medical examiners and funeral home owners and such are really fucking sick.
What a surprise. /s
There was a university not too far from my town where I grew up that had a mortuary school.
I'm not going to say that all people who become morticians are like this, but there was definitely a type amongst my peers who opted for that career path and they weren't people you would say, "they went to mortuary school? I never would have expected that" about.
