I have old phone that have signal and connected to my telephone number. I have new phone that I put old SIM in but do not have signal installed. I would like signal on new phone and keep signal and old conversations on the old phone. Is this possible?

There are some migration instructions. https://support.signal.org/hc/en-us/articles/360007059752-Backup-and-Restore-Messages

It may be possible if it’s not switching platforms.

I do not want to migrate data. I want old conversations to stay on old phone and new conversations on new phone, but use both.
