Hi guys, made the jump to lemmy today and wanted to share a few pictures of my cats I've taken. I bought the camera a couple years ago for macro photography, primarily surveying moth populations, and busted it back out recently.

Any comments on the photography, or anything really, is welcome!

Also, I couldn't figure out how to add multiple photos, so any advice on that would be great

You can only post one main image, but in the post description you can then add more inline images.

You can also add images in the replies!

Note that a lot of servers cap file size and don't have a great way of telling you that your upload was blocked/denied due to file size. This is especially annoying while mobile since there aren't great easy workflows for realizing and/or saving with lower quality.

To tell you something you probably already knew, your depth of field is too short in this one, and you needed to increase the aperture or move back, so that you get the full glory of the fluffiness on the right.
Really nice subjects, though!

The joys of the exposure triangle at play. Life is all about trade-offs I guess.

Oh yes, and also of only realising in post-propressing that the shot isn't quite as good as you hoped when you did it.
