Christ, I wish something like this were possible in the US. Our police forces are so militarized (and subject to laxer rules than the military) that the protesters would be assaulted physically with shields, batons, tear gas / chemical irritants, flashbang grenades, rubber bullets, tasers....

And then, even though the police will inevitably have been the ones to start the violence, the assaulted protesters would end up charged with crimes while the police go on with business as usual.

Good for you, Dutch people. You're doing it right.
