Has the cause of this crash been blamed on anyone?

Looked to me like Stroll moves right harshly and pushed Alonso who didn't have anywhere to go because Hamilton was also passing him on the right...

But I don't know the F1 rules well enough to know who is at fault ... Also Miami coverage was atrocious

Hamilton should know better than to dive up the inside on T1 at the beginning of a race. There was no way he was going to make that corner without hitting someone.

Good to know... It did look wide open when he pushed but he should have known Alonso was going to turn and Hamilton was not going to be past him by then

Thanks for your reply

Sometimes I think we go a little far with the safety concerns.. pretty sure a grown man can look to see there’s no car coming and walk across the track safely

Oh no, 50000€ for a multimillionaire, the horror. What will this poor man do now?

[–] [email protected] 0 points 6 months ago (1 children)

It's 25,000€ right now and a suspended fine of another 25,000€ on the condition that he doesn't do this again.

So 25,000 euros to cross the track? Miami prices are a bit steep. How much to add an ounce of caviar to that?

Stewards took a look at that price chart in VIP area and started fining like crazy to cover the bill.
