We have been eating a lot of ice cream lately when we get our bake on, but that is not ideal. Bonus points for healthy snacks.

I once destroyed a bunch of carrot sticks with a sour cream dip to keep me from munching on chips and getting even fatter. It was nice, but I needed to prepare it before getting high.

Oh my, I'm a little late to the party...

Better late than never!

Now, hear me out. Grilled cheese sandwich with peanut butter inside and jam on the top. Sounds off to gross, tastes like heaven. Don't knock it til you try it

I eat concord grapes. Also a nice homemade charcuterie is always great

Chips. Don't matter what but they're the easiest salty/savory food to snack on. I have some "crispy taco" Lays right now. Shit actually tastes like tacos I would make at home; sour cream, olives and everything comes through. 🤤

The last time I tried a taco flavor from lays, it tasted like a regular (not supreme) taco bell taco that had been dehydrated. These new ones are infinitely better.

Nutty Buddy

Costco has these giant bags of dried fruit - I really love the sliced dry mangoes, but we also get apricots, strawberries, pineapple … this time he picked up craisins and dried plums that are just this side of being prunes. They also sell big tubs of little tomatoes that are meant to stay on the counter which makes it easier to grab than the nutty buddies or jelly beans!

But also we eat nutty buddies and jelly beans.

Roasted chickpeas with whatever spices your favourite crisps contain kinda scratch the snacking itch while being healthy. But I get the weirdest munchies for random ass stuff like a whole cucumber eaten without slicing, or garlic soup.

Oh man you just unlocked a memory from 20 years ago.

I'm 30 and hanging out with the college kids next door, getting high. One shows up with a case of beer and a grocery bag of cucumbers from his parents garden.

We sat around for a couple hours shooting the shit, getting high, drinking beer, and eating whole cucumbers.

That sounds like an amazing time. That zesty crunchiness just hits the spot sometimes.

It was. A nice little era of my life where I stopped being so reclusive and partied for a while.

It was a nice summer.

Usually popcorn.

If I'm really lazy, throw a bag in the microwave.

Otherwise, pan-popped and sprinkled with salt and onion powder to make Funyuns popcorn.

More weed, it’s how I stay skinny.

On a serious note, fruit is nature’s candy. It’s the least bad “not good” thing for you, so we eat a lot of fruit when high. We swapped ice cream for Greek yogurt fruit smoothies, it’s got way more protein and way less fat.

This is the way.

I love dried fruit, nuts, and beef jerky.

Love me some nuts, but damn is it easy to eat 800 calories worth without even thinking about it. They’re good but very calorie dense. Gotta control those portions

Started going really hard for a simple carrot salad with a bit of salt, pepper, and squeezed lemon. Just to make it more interesting, I slice the carrots into tiny sticks (which takes ages, but I find it's a pleasant meditative activity for the context).
