Arizona is the fourth state to bring charges against electors who falsely cast votes for Trump in states that President Biden won, along with Michigan, Georgia and Nevada.

New Mexico, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin are the states which have yet to indict their fraudulent electors.

Are they picking bad photos of tRump or has he started to look like death warmed over lately?

Lately? He's old, tired, orange, overweight and covered in makeupwith a ludicrous hairstyle to hide his appearance.

I'm behind on the news. Are they actually members of the electoral college, or are they pretending to be? If they're just pretending, what were the potential consequences of their lie? Are faithless electors still legal?

Not actual electors, just Arizona Republican operatives who certified the election as "Trump Won" even though the vote count showed Biden as getting the majority of the votes. Don't know why the article refers to them as "fake electors", I don't think any of the 11 people in the indictment were the actual Arizona state electors attending the EC... but I'm not going to dig far enough to verify.

The elector would have cast Arizona's votes for the incorrect candidate based on the incorrectly certified popular vote count.

Don't worry, if these kinds of people can get Trump in regardless of the will of the people, Trump will pardon them for this crime.

The president can't pardon state crimes, you need a governor for that

SCOTUS majority (probably): The electoral college is defined by the Constitution, state law doesn't apply to electors, they have to be prosecuted in Federal court.

They would. I hope Clarence chokes uncomfortably on a fish bone during one of his lavish vacations.

Death is only an option for treason during war time.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 6 months ago (1 children)

Are we technically at war with anyone?

[–] [email protected] 0 points 6 months ago

Is the US a belligerent in the Korean war? That one hasn't ended technically

Trying to subvert an election and install a dictator? Sounds like treason to me.

Sounds good. They are the party of law and order, I'm sure they will be on board.

Good, any tampering like that needs to be punished. If that won't happen we are guaranteed it will happen again.

The problem is these idiots think they're untouchable, and they need to be shown they are not
