Oh god, I just watched Baby Reindeer
two things, no three,
you just can't tell who is going to become a stalker, I had one, a guy I had never met and didn't know asked me out, I kindly declined, he got nasty immediately and then stalked for months.
I'm so self conscious and unsure that half the time I think I'm a bad guy. Watching that show , omg, not one thing the abuser did would ever cross my mind.
and lastly, and the most important thing, what this series is about, is male sexual abuse. π
Another thing in the show, friends and family, people who love us, will help us. Abuse makes people feel alone, don't let it.
Just watch the show.
5 hobbits
Glad you enjoyed it, I rated it pretty highly too
I don't know if enjoy is the right word.
This is such a good show about men's lives , I hope it has some positive impact.
Made me want to give mr seagoon so many hugs
I think it was ok for Arj Barker to ask the crying baby to leave. No hate for kids, but if you take your baby to a comedy show, or any theatre show, and itβs making noise please gracefully exit and let the performers do their craft and people watch the show uninterrupted. Hundreds of people paid for tickets to see a show, not listen to a grumbling baby.
@SituationCake @Seagoon_ I keep seeing the comment "so drunk hecklers are gine but an innocent baby isn't??"
I've been to multiple shows where drunk hecklers were removed from the audience.
I appreciate that mums need a night out and all that, but maybe pick a better spot to go.
No one should be taking a 2 week old baby to anything like a show.
Babies need a nice quiet home. That poor baby. π
Weeeell, babysitters are expensive, and it's difficult to find good ones, especially in a hurry. I can understand if someone didn't want to go through that hassle and cost of living pressure. But surely a pacifier and a small jar of honey would be standard operating procedure if you did bring a baby along.
not many baby sitters would want to care for a new born
can a 2 week old even have a dummy and honey?
I'm thinking to when I was mother to a 2 week yr old, I didn't want to go anywhere, still felt uncomfortable sitting, boobs like painful gushers, tiny baby that had to be feed frequently and cared for and my baby was an easy baby!
The baby was 8 months old not a new born.
oh, I read it was a new born
well, 8 months is a bit different, still not great , still clueless
some places are just not meant for babies
I agree.
I agree. Don't get me started on those barbarians who take calls on their phone during a performance. I could get really really nasty to such.
A couple of times Iβve been in an audience where someone starts doing stuff on their phone (not calls) and you see a glow emanating from their seat. Itβs infuriating, particularly if itβs a dark scene where you want to be focusing on the stage. If itβs that boring for you why did you come.
I had a 9pm smoothie. Honestly not bad
Bill Cat fast asleep just sprawled out on the floor

Rub the belly!
he ran away πΉ
I keep hurting my bad shoulder again. First while pulling the doona up from behind me last night. Then today I pulled a big bag of kitty litter down from a high shelf, lifted it to refill a litter tray, and tore some junk up for the bin
I swear these appear earlier and earlier before Easter every year..
that's the earliest ever
I very rarely go on the train. Had to change trains at Richmond en route to the Car on the other side of town. Got to see a lovely contrast of technology, a shiny and quiet new HCMT gliding in like it's the shit, a doddery old diesel V/Line on the next platform, and my train is an old Alstom that looks like a cheap tin can on the outside (I hate the corrugated look) and doesn't sound nearly as quiet as Shiny New Train...
Anyway, this might be the last time I take the train in quite a while. It's pretty cool people watching. There is a guy whose hair is a messy, matted nest, with uneven facial hair and oily skin, dead eyes and a defiant scowl, but he's wearing a clean, fresh, neatly pressed suit and tie! I'm going to guess IT. e: he got off at Malvern and had a nice-looking but well used laptop bag with him. He must be head of IT.
