Alternates are now being selected.

Trump's lawyers just need to first get the potential jurists preferred method of payment (Cash/SWIFT/PayPal/ApplePay/GooglePay/etc.).

No need, the DNC will pay them off to make sure Trump's free to run against Biden.

Gosh, I hadn't thought of that. Much simpler than, say, the GOP seeing Trump for what he really is and running Haley or DeSantis or any another candidate who isn't tied up in a 88-count "witchhunt".

Watch out for those vapor trails, pal.

Watch out for those vapor trails, pal.

It was a joke based on the proven facts that the DNC deliberately elevated Trump and has spent millions financing far-right Republican candidates as propped-up opposition? I'm not saying 9/11 was an inside job or anything.

the GOP seeing Trump for what he really is and running Haley or DeSantis

How exactly are either of these people better than Trump?

This is one of the dumbest takes I've ever heard. No surprise it's from Hexbear.

Your proof is a single strategy memo from almost 10 years ago?

They’ve spent millions on this shit😭 this is like a known thing amongst those who don’t have chronic liberal brain rot

The DNC specifically tried to elevate Trump so they could shift the Republican Party right instead of moving themselves left, the elevating of the GOP as a “greater evil” by the DNC to prevent genuine leftward opposition not just shown in this case, but by the disparity between the level of terror directed against the GOP as opposed to left wing groups not just as abroad but also at home, where supposedly this is a fascist who cannot be allowed to gain power or else Democracy^TM will end, and yet absolutely nothing is done.

That seems really fast. I was in a jury for a trivial possession of a firearm case and it took longer

This is the best summary I could come up with:

NEW YORK (AP) — A jury of 12 people was seated Thursday in former President Donald Trump’s history-making hush money trial, propelling the proceedings closer to opening statements and the start of weeks of dramatic testimony.

Jury selection proceeded at a plodding pace earlier Thursday when two jurors were dismissed, one after expressing doubt about her ability to be fair following disclosure of details about her identity and the other over concerns that some of his answers in court may have been inaccurate.

A woman picked for the jury said she thought Trump seemed “very selfish and self serving,” adding, “I don’t really appreciate that from any public servant.” Defense lawyers were out of peremptory strikes, which would allow them to dismiss a juror without giving a reason.

Prosecutors say Trump obscured the true nature of the payments in internal records when his company reimbursed Cohen, who pleaded guilty to federal charges in 2018 and is expected to be a star witness for the prosecution.

The IT professional was summoned to court to answer questions after prosecutors said they found an article about a person with the same name who had been arrested in the 1990s for tearing down posters pertaining to the political right in suburban Westchester County.

Several of the posts involved an article that referred to former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen as a “serial perjurer,” and one from Wednesday repeated a claim by a Fox News host that liberal activists were lying to get on the jury, said prosecutor Christopher Conroy.

The original article contains 1,205 words, the summary contains 254 words. Saved 79%. I'm a bot and I'm open source!
