GaaS is killing competition, imagine that.
Patient Gamers
A gaming community free from the hype and oversaturation of current releases, catering to gamers who wait at least 12 months after release to play a game. Whether it's price, waiting for bugs/issues to be patched, DLC to be released, don't meet the system requirements, or just haven't had the time to keep up with the latest releases.

I started Trails in the Sky like 2 years ago and have been slowly burning my way through the entire series since. Now I’m on the 8th game, Cold Steel 3, with Cold Steel 4 already installed. I’ll buy Reverie then Daybreak when the time comes.
Yep. I've been working through Horizon Forbidden West,l over the past few days, but before that I've been cycling replays of Borderlands 2, Control, South park, Portal 2 and a handful of others older games. Probably will do another Dishonored run this year too. The older games just scratch the itch way more than most of my newer ones.
That tracks. I mainly play Factorio, modded Minecraft, Stardew Valley, Terraria, and games like that. There's almost infinite replayability.
I spent lots of time in Civ VI and Riven. Some in FO4. Also Ultima Underworld II.
There’s also 40 years’ worth of amazing video games to play. Tens of thousands of titles. I’m in no rush to play the latest, especially since they’re overpriced and underdeliver on hardware I definitely can’t afford.
I've never seen Riven mentioned before! One of my absolute favorites, such a standout game and art design and lore and whatnot
I love the whole series. Myst III was great, too, but I think Riven stands out because of the huge leap forward it was from the first Myst. And how fucking HARD it was!
I find Simpsons Hit and Run isn't getting any younger
