I didn't know the Ukrainians had Flankers. I thought the MiG 29 was their most advanced jet.

They've got more Fulcrums, but iirc they have like 20-30 flankers

At the current rate of advancement 127 years until Russia conquers Ukraine. At the current rate of fighter/bomber lose this year..... Russia will be out of fighters/bombers by next year. For those wondering they produce three a year and lost like 24 in the last 4 months.

Russians shoot down another of their Flankers - thereby opening up a discussion about fratricide risk in war.

It’s probably just shit training.

I don't usually say this, but good job Russia.

Wound up inverted in a flat spin. No way out of that one.

There are things to try for a flat spin but not for the fully engulfed in flames part

I saw a pic of a chute right before the video starts. No idea if it's true.

According to David Axe ar Forbes, the 38th Regiment’s only known air-to-air kill was a US Air Force MQ-9 Reaper drone pictured below on March 14, 2023.

Great work, chaps!

Poor chap, imagine training your whole life just to be shot down by a friendly.

Nice shot though.

They probably got scooped from a jail cell and plopped into that because they could fly a crop duster. Let’s not pretend the Russian military is full of elite soldiers

Do you think they'd risk a fighter jet with a random inmate who can fly? The average military being bad doesn't mean they don't have the means to train some elite, they are still a huge country selling a shitload of fossil fuel to everyone, including oil to EU.
