I got banned from c/politics because I said that we should treat Republicans like they treat trans folks. In an unironic message the mod said my language was threatening without understanding that's my point: the right are saying incredibly vicious things and can't take their own heat. The mods over there are turning it into a right wing echo chamber.
I haven't followed mods of c/politics at all, but I'm skeptical that it's a right wing echo chamber because we're talking about Lemmy
