this has been my entire argument since 2016

Isn't he democratically elected winning both the electoral college and the popular vote? Democracy is not a guarantee that you will get the best or most qualified leader, just the most popular.

He came out in public and said he rigged the election with help from some powerful friends. He literally admitted to it, a week after being sworn in but just like always, no one ever does anything about it.

They made everything a conspiracy theory, so now when you try to make a major accusation like this, it just sounds like another bit of noise.

yep. this has all been masterfully orchestrated.

but whatever. i don't care if it was rigged. they all just need to be gone regardless if i'm the only one that thinks so.

Saying Trump won the popular vote sounds a lot different than saying he won 49% to 48%.

These are the silky arguments that no one needs. Hr did ein the popular vote, of all the votes. No one is talking about turn out.

I'm not saying it's untrue, I'm saying it's kind of anemic. In the past we've had presidents with more significant margins. Obama was popular and he hit 8%. We generally have notable margins and that's when we talk up the popular vote. Don't you think it's funny to juxtapose "Trump won the popular vote. (at 1.5%)" with your memory / knowledge of history?

One thing that makes it look good is that post 9/11 Bush barely hit ~3%. Making Trump about half as popular as a president rallying behind a national tragedy.

Getting kind of tired of people pretending the results are legitimate. We know they are not. The election was massively tampered with.

I do think an independent audit by the UN is warranted. Perhaps the next elections should have the UN monitoring it though the US would sooner leave the UN than allow that.

though the US would sooner leave the UN than allow that.

I mean, not necessarily. Trump didn't really legitimately win the election, and he's only been driving his supporters away with his ineptitude.

They have to uphold the constitution and the rule of law!

Do you think they just get elected and then do whatever they want? That's not the US, not until this idiocy.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 4 days ago (1 children)

That’s not the US,

That is exactly what US is. They even told you before the election that this is what will be happening if diaper donny gets elected.

Historically, no. Now, yes.

It's even worse when they downplay it and act like nothing's wrong.

America: "The government is constantly ignoring the constitution!!!" Also america: ignores the 2nd amendment of the constitution which gives very clear directives on how to deal with the government that igores the constitution.
