This is a fan comic about the show "The Owl House". In it, Amity (the purple haired girl) is a witch from the demon realm and had the ability to do magic naturally without much effort, and Luz (the other girl) is a human so she couldn't. But she learned how to do glyphs to create the most basic spells (such as creating spheres of light, ice, plants...) and when the glyphs are finished, they are activated by tapping on them.
At a certain point in the story Season 3 spoilers
they all end up in the human realm, where their natural magic can't work
The joke here is that while Amity has always tried to portray the image of the perfect witch, being always perfect at everything, she is unable to do something as basic as drawing a simple circle no matter how hard she tries (that's shown in one of the episodes, as just a passing joke, where she is apparently pissed at how easy it seems to be for Luz). So the author of this fan comic decided to do a "what if she becomes absurdly obsessed at getting that right" and she finally manages to do it at a point of the story spoilers from the finale
right at the last minutes of the last episode, when the source of the glyph magic is gone and glyphs can't work anymore.
thank you for a detailed explanation, i never heard of that show, no wonder it made no sense.
now it does
Drawing perfect circles is the most impressive thing that happened in the show. Moving a celestial object is nothing compared to that
It took her so long, her hair changed.
