He just makes it sound like these other countries are not remembering the efforts from all the allies, including the U.S. I can tell you first hand that is not the case. I think any US WWII veteran can confirm.

fun fact: there was a romanian guy who was captured in WW2, and he was sent to a psych asylum because everyone thought he was talking in a cryptic language and they thought he was insane. Anyway, 60 years later, a romanian doctor came to the hospital, and they released the guy because they found out he was speaking in romanian.
I'm skeptical that he picked up absolutely none of the local language while being immersed in it.

Once you have been labelled with a psychological disorder, medical staff view you through that lens. It defines you to them. They cannot see anything else. The man might have started speaking actual ~~English~~ Russian (as it turns out) but if his chart says, "Cannot communicate," you'd be shocked how often other evidence gets disregarded.
What were the conditions of his stay? Was this 60 years of solitary confinement with no activities to engage with? No art or human interaction?
In which case, never mind the rest, it's a medical miracle the dude isn't a catatonic.

No, it's just narcissism. Nothing special about his actions, they are all classic narcissistic behaviors.
I disagree. Even considering that narcissism is a spectrum and Drumpf is one of the most narcissistic people alive does not fully explain his behavior.
E.g. He even lied about stuff where it didn’t score points for him. Sometimes the truth would have even been better for him. He loves lying almost as much as he loves himself.
There’s a couple of disorders on top of his incredibly malignant narcissism.
Narcissists lie because they have no concept of of factual truth. Whatever they say is the truth, because they say it. They do not need to benefit from the lie.
Stupid is stupid, no matter what country you are from. There will always be people who prefer ignorance to education, in any country. The trick is to deal with them efficiently and effectively. "Just watch me."
America claiming it did more than any otber country to achieve victory in WW2 has to be the most laughable shit. I hope the rest of the world sees it that way
