This is an exploration of some of the things they teach in seminary, but not in the pulpits. Why don't they want their congregations to learn about them? The author suggests that it would severely cut into their income by turning people off Christianity, even though these facts are foundational to the religion.

After growing up Christian it too well into my 20s to wonder specifically around the language of the “tree of knowledge” being the evil thing in the garden. Someone more eloquent than I am can tie that fear of knowledge back to the articles “why don’t they want their congregations to learn…”
