5 but it depends if "used" is defined as actually in an every day situtation or because found an old typewriter in the attic and played around with it

- Used the old broken 19" TV as a stand for the new, smaller, sleeker 19" TV.
- Your first video game console had a rotating paddle for a controller
Just the 1. I’ve never listened to a boombox outdoors.
I've never used a typewriter. I've also never been to blockbuster, but I assume this is just American for "rented a film from a physical store".
Given how obsolete videos are, I’d imagine all of the stores have gone too.
We had blockbuster in the UK, and we had boomboxes. No one I knew took them outdoors though.
Do I get negative points if I still own and use many of these things?
1 point. I've never sent a postcard... I bought one with a shifting hologram on the front for the purposes of sending a Thank-You note. I just never got around to sending it.
I still do a lot of this other stuff with some regularity.
- Blockbuster didnt exist in the EU.
It did. Italy was filled with Blockbusters and their hideous blue signage.
- Never listened to music on a CD;
- never listened to a vynil record;
- never listened to a walkman
- never listened to a boombox (had to search what this was)
- never sent a postcard
36 years old. Just grew up mostly without access to music until I got my first PC. But I did have the opportunity to use a radio with a cassete tape player a few times as a kid.
1 point. I don't even own a cheque book.
Zero points for me. I once wrote a cheque to pay my outstanding fee at my local video rental place (I was returning Time Cop) And then later I got home and sent my father a fax of younger brother's foot and shoe size so he could buy some shoes for him while abroad on a business trip. I specifically remember that day because I rented Four Weddings and a Funeral which had just come out on VHS. This was probably 1994 or 1995. Now I feel old as fuck.
Yeah for every day use theres no point in using checks. Only the elderly use them every where. When I was a cashier it was very obnoxious
Only one that I haven’t done is paper checks. Those weren’t really a thing here.
Of course, a few of those have come back around to be used by younger generations. There’s teens who rediscovered Polaroid and other film cameras in recent years. Ten years ago, cassettes saw a resurgence and vinyl was also selling well.
Two points. I'm 33.
Zero (born in '66). Can we add some more to the list?
21: had to wait for the television to warm up
Same here. Here's some more... 22: I had a black and white television 23: The television didn't have a remote control 24: On Sunday, television was closed, no programming other than religious stuff in the morning 25: At some point, often around midnight, the television went off the air 26: Cars didn't have seat belts
5 (I'm 18 lol)
Zeeeero!
Same, seems like these are all from the 70s/80s/90s era basically.
My mothers maiden name is punjab.
7.5 because I never checked if the outdoor music was from a boom box or not
This is just the age calculator. Anything over 5 points and you are less than 25 years old. I’d even go as far to say less than 30.
