Great game, better than Dwellings

Have you played both games? I always thought that Dwellings sounds like a game I'd like, but it was oop when I first heard about it and I didn't bother looking for it on the second hand market. So when AE was announced, I was very happy, especially cause I also like space-themed games.

A guy in my group is considering getting Dwellings because he likes the fantasy theme better. Would you get it just for the different theme?

I have played both, I like the worker retrieval mini game a lot better in Andromeda's Edge. I'm generally indifferent to theme in games but if that's a big deal for you guys I'm sure you'll enjoy Dwellings a lot.

Can’t tell if the bowls contain tokens or snacks 🤔

Great game! My buddy got the deluxe KS version, and the minis are really nice. The factions could use a bit more balancing though. Or we're just bad at them.

How long do the turns take and how long is one average game? Looks interesting judging by the board state!

The round in the picture took us 2.5 hours, but it was only our second time playing the game and we had to look up a few rules. Turns can be quite short when you're only launching a ship and it doesn't come to a battle. Recalling ships can take a bit longer because you have to think about which resources to get. Turns don't have a lot of downtime for other players though. You always have to check what others are doing to plan your own next move.
