I'd be surprised if he didn't. If he stands with Trump and Trump wins, he might be in good graces and the MAGA folks don't harass him. If Trump loses, well the Democrats aren't going to care and the usual party cannibalism that follows political losses will have less reason to direct their ire in his direction.
This is in his best interests; same as always.

That’s a great idea. Hopefully I can outlive a lot of the people I hate and can spend my retirement travelling around the world pissing on their grave. Maybe I’ll start a tour business where we go for a pub crawl first and then lead a tour through the cemetery
