This makes it sound like the people participating in protests and boycotts do not vote, which is untrue. In fact, I would wager that activists are one of the demographics with the highest voter turnout. Additionally, protests can actually help increase voter turnout by raising awareness of key issues.

NGL I have a feeling the USA is going to triple down on fascism next year at the polls.
Republicans are absolutely fucking gutting this country like a pig and what is the left's response? Record low approval for the DNC. If that doesn't turn all the fucking way around then we're all cooked, mate. It's over.
Until the Dem politicians start putting their careers on the line, and the dem voters start doing something other than hoping someone else will do something, that's pretty much it.
boycotts and protests are actually great though. we can do it all when it's not election season
