My kid did a little tidy up in my kitchen yesterday. The kettle was unplugged, the frying pan was put in the cupboard where it doesn't belong, green teabags mixed in with English breakfast and I don't know where the sweet potato went that was on the bench.

In the insurance world this is known as a "total loss"
It was a shock when I made a cuppa and it was pale as so I looked at the tag and it was not English breakfast.

The hot air balloons are out again this morning. Now it makes me think they're up to something
Obviously that's how criminals are casing houses these days. Anything out of the ordinary is someone casing your house.
They've figured out how to get around the Ring doorbells and Swann wifi security systems. What do I buy to protect my home from the balloons?

Getting up when it's still dark, but not too cold is one of life's great pleasures. Seeing the sun rise illuminate the parklands. Seeing people walking, jogging and riding their bikes first thing. And of course seeing rubbish strewn (yes STREWN) all over the court because the rubbish truck driver could not be bothered to stop and clean it up.
Not my bin thankfully, but it's been cleaned up, council notified and note left for neighbour that their bin hasn't been emptied.
Was super deeply asleep when alarm went off. Heart rate went rapid and disorientation hit. I hate waking up like that. Argh.
Oof, that's one of the worst ways to start your day. Hope it gets better.

It was rather beautiful this morning. Lovely texture in the clouds.
