I don't use it much but I use URL shorteners sometimes. Currently every alternative I can find is US based. Does anybody have any suggestions for EU based URL shortener websites?

My main usage is just having a shorter URL but limited statistics would ideally also be there (mainly amount of clicks per day)

Currently just using infomaniaks free hosting tier. Might look into this if I ever start paying for hosting. Thanks!

Adminforge.de has some services and there is a link shortener. I think all servers are located in Germany and the apps are mostly in German.

Here is a list of URL shorteners provided by CHATONs

CHATONS – kittens in french – is the Collective of Hosters Alternative, Transparent, Open, Neutral and Solidarity. This collective aims to bring together structures offering free, ethical and decentralised online services in order to allow users to quickly find alternatives that respect their data and privacy to the services offered by GAFAM (Google, Apple, Facebook, Amazon, Microsoft).

https://lmy.de/page/impressum If you have your own domain, then yourls could be a solution and install it on the server itself, as I once did here https://b-ge.de/y/. Buy from EU https://b-ge.de/y/eu

Edit: A few advantages of hosting your own URL shortener on your own web server like yourls. I have captcha configured, but that's just protection because my server is very weak and I can do without it. Unpacked in the subdirectory, this also works for all other domains as a symbolic link, e.g. https://babsi.de/y/eu or https://babsi.de/y/bfe is also b-ge.de/y

Urly (Italy) and urlr (France)

From here: https://www.goeuropean.org/, haven't actually used either myself but maybe you can report back some time if you go ahead with one or both?
