Syncthing is a continuous file synchronization program. It synchronizes files between two or more computers in real time, safely protected from prying eyes.

Your data is your data alone and you deserve to choose where it is stored, whether it is shared with some third party, and how it's transmitted over the internet.

Could really use some help with this; I set up Syncthing successfully a long time ago, but don't do it often enough to remember everything . . .

It seemed to be working last night, but is now hanging (according to my laptop) at 99% with 21 items out of sync. On the phone end it says "Aborted scan due to an unexpected error."

I dimly remember that on Syncthing-Fork, which is what I use on my phone, that they used to have "tips and tricks" to, I think, let you save power by turning off Global Discovery and . . . ? I don't remember. I turned off Enable NAT Traversal, Global Discovery, and Enable Relaying, had some problems, and then turned them all back on again, restarted syncthing several times on laptop and phone, but still no dice. Have paused and unpaused folders on both devices several times as well. The firewall rules are in place from last time, turning off firewall and VPN didn't seem to help.

Just to double-check is there enough available disk space for the next sync to complete?

I don't have too much experience with Syncthing errors but low/unavailable disk space is the main reason I've seen Syncthing fail.

There should be plenty of disk space on both devices, but thanks for your input ๐Ÿ™‚
