I’m doing my part! Cancelled Primevideo, and ordered a Kobo. I’m going to download all my books to my Kindle and then take it forever offline.
Should we all also shut down all EC2 instances at our jobs?
Fuck I hate using AWS at work. I have zero of my side business resources hosted on that hodgepodge (it’s actually funny because it’s the only website in its industry that stays up every time AWS goes down).
Also delete all data in S3 buckets to scale down on consumption
sorry, boss - aws is having... "issues". had to spin up the local load balancers. no need to thank me. we should be good for a week or so.

I was thinking more like an OS where everything is "in the cloud" and everything costs money.... Like, volume up: $2, set alarm $0,50, etc....
