The profile weblink ownership verification and indication is interesting.

I didn't find the iconography obvious though. At least the standard HTML title [tooltip] explains it though.

Why are lemmy images always so huge :(

I've read that Librewolf is infected with a lot of ideological tribalism. I really hope its not the case!

Seems like I hit a nerve ^^

Who said it, and where? Without this information, it looks like you're just shitstirring.

I thought about asking here first, maybe was bollocks. But turns out is not:

I really dont like the head of the project caring about provaxers or antivaxers, a web browser project caring about such things sounds like lunacy to me, specially since is about freedom and privacy.

I found about it here: https://x.com/LundukeJournal/status/1896337006076325962 who librewolf crew already banned from their chat, etc, as usual on this cases when dispensing labels is easier than accepting facts. The fact that he was banned, and by the very same person stating those radical idelogy statements from the screenshot, tells that is in fact, following those principles.

I've already been using Librewolf for about a year now, but honestly seeing one of the main contributors to the project taking such a hardline stance against fascist and hateful bullshit makes me feel really good about using this as my browser. Thanks for letting me know about this, between this and how good the software is I really think I should donate some money to this project!

EDIT: I just went to their website and I saw that they don't even accept donations, which honestly I find just makes them even more based. They do all this work and refuse to take money for it? I love those principles. They're truly making a privacy-respecting web browser out of pure passion.

Sure, sure. Hitler is coming for us all, etc. The usual yada yada. Hope you feel better soon!

What are you talking about?

Edit: guess I'll never know

You're always free to create your own browser from scratch with your own ideology.

Have a go at it, champ!

create your own browser from scratch

That's not what Librewolf is, not even close.

Nice to see them taking advantage of Mozilla's fuck up. Maybe it'll net them more contributors.
