Just got informed I'm getting a bonus this year. It's <30% of the normal target. I guess I should be thankful to get anything given half of the company just got cut. For some reason, I'm irritated that it's a fraction of what I normally get, even though it'll all just go into savings.

Every little bit to push me closer to not needing to deal with this garbage anymore.

Congrats on what you did get. Even if it's not what you wanted, something is better than nothing.

As for me, I'm about to go back to work. I've been semi retired for a while, but I'm just not productive when I'm not working. I mean even when it comes to cleaning and doing little repairs around the house, I just haven't had the motivation.

I need a job to give my life some structure. I thought my hobbies would keep me occupied, but it just didn't happen.
