Fuck the Democrats at this point. They’re useless. There is no real opposition to the mad king. The courts and the rule of law are trying, but the Supreme Court will bend the knee and put an end to that. They’re too busy counting their bribe money to give a shit about democracy and the rule of law.
The Republic is falling, and since the 80s the power has concentrated so far upward that no one will go against their own personal interests to challenge it. They’ll let it all die for just a little more.
It's already too late. We'll have to crash and burn, see what comes out the other side.
Don't worry too much, there will be at least a few hundred years of whatever military junta will takeover when things get too far out of control.
I have written a strongly worded, i even said autocracy, letter to my elected representative. I wish this were snark.
