Having lived in England, I wouldn't frequent a bar that didn't allow "birds".

(Or "chicks", if you want the American version of the slang).

I often have lunch in a place outdoors, and some of the local pidgeons come around into the eating area looking for food, sometimes even jumping onto the backs of chairs and on the tables trying to get at the food (when lunching alone I've have a pidgeon get on top of the back of the chair across me and start eyeing the rice on my food tray before I shood it away).

Once in a whole the waiters and waitresses shoo the pidgeons and they fly away, only to come back in a minute or two.

There is no way to win against those pidgeon except killing them (which I personally don't support) since they have no shame, cannot be reasoned with, and are better off doing what they do than they would trying to find food on the street even if there they do have to fly away once in a while.

The whole thing is pretty funny to watch.

These pigeons clearly follow Bird Law to the T. That's why they left.

They didn't like being called birds. They felt they were being pigeon holed

Perhaps they were misled by the bird on the bartenders sweater?

She wears that to indicate who is not allowed in the bar.
