It is good to see that there are people out there who realize that, regardless of the fact that we're turning to fascism, one can still do some good with their own two hands.

I hope the kids who murdered Nex Benedict get their comeuppance.

Kids these days are giving me hope that the millennial cynicism had lost. I know the bullies we zoomers too, but overall I see a lot of positive change coming from this generation and I hope we have their back.

I blame the internet, go listen to 90’s music.

Our generation was pissed off and going to change the world, then the internet came around and everybody just took to yelling into the void.

I guess we get cat memes out of the deal at least

Being from the north the generational change in just 20 years was huge. I have no idea how it impacts the regressive south but with all the social media out there i'm guessing they get exposed. Being anti-hate is very appealing to idealistic people which are definitely the young.

I wonder if we're seeing the dying remnants of regressives before the next generation grows up. I understand why the older generations are worried because the big changes we've seen are not what they are used to. If anything trying to bring back hate as a platform is like holding onto a safety blanket real tight.

Unfortunately regressives are not dying out. A study I read showed that young men are actually trending a lot more conservative (in numbers) than previous generations. I’m a little disappointed in young men tbh, but I know there’s a lot of complex social reasons for this. Whereas women are trending a lot more liberal. Not sure how it will impact the polls
