I hope you give an update on how it is when you get it! I love the solo strap since you can pop it on and off so easily. Thats the one thing holding me back on this purchase… that and I way over spent on their belkin carrying cass and feel used n abused

I honestly think it should be a requirement for the Vision Pro. I've found myself using mine twice as much now, now that I no longer fear discomfort.
If someone made a facial interface that was just a nose pad (for a reduction in the binocular feel), it would become my all time favorite piece of tech and secure me as a VP customer for all future iterations.
Manipulating the headset to pick it up and put it down is marginally more difficult due to the counterweights (I now use the top strap like a handle instead of grabbing the front glass like I did before). I never have to adjust my straps, however, so it just goes on and off like a hat, which is great (and better than the solo strap imo).
Ohh so you dont have to undo and redo the straps each time?? I thought you would have to. That makes things a lot different. I used the other strap that came with it and had that problem. It such a pain to use. But I understand when you mention the discomfort. It took a lot of time of using it before I built a ‘tolerance’ so to speak. Nowadays I can stay inside the matrix for about 5-6hrs straight before getting tired. But still, a more comfy strap would help. And one that secures the headset better for when I am doing more than just computer work on it (I am taking mine to the Grand Canyon this coming week and I want to get some hopefully cool pov videos walking around with it)
Yeah I don't have to redo the straps, but I have read that others do. Same story with the dual band for me. I feel like maybe those people just never tried it?? Idk.
I'd be amazed if you didn't love the kontor for that.
