I put Robot Dreams on thinking it'll just be nice in the background but for a simple animated film with no dialogue or a particularly complex plot, I can't believe how moved I was by the end. The yearning feeling of loneliness and hope really got to me. It's got such a lovely old fashioned feel to it. I think some of you will like it
Thanks for reminding me of this film. Going to watch it tomorrow night.
Just glanced at the synopsis and I think it just reiterates to me how weird I am with things robot related. Big Hero 6 wrecked me, the family dog and this.
Yep, emo checking in.
Oh boy, even without the personal robot/dog connection the movie hits haaaard if you're feeling emo and lonely and wistful about friendships and connection. I would definitely be in tears if I had those soft spots
I'll put it on my list. :)
and hugs
I think you'll enjoy it. Even if it's simplistic
I looked at the trailer, it looks really sweet. :πΆπ€π©·
Sweet but not saccharine, a couple of scenes unexpectedly broke my heart (still a great ending but tugged at the heartstrings)
