I do enjoy a good stout, but somehow I’ve gotten the “stout guy” reputation. I don’t drink enough for it to be an issue, but how do I wiggle out of this horizontally? Something stout-adjacent? I can’t stand IPAs, maybe it’s just a cruel prank.

Try a schwartzbier or porter. Similar dark flavors but much lighter body.

Maybe drink some other styles in front of those people? It's not like being a stout guy is a bad thing. I wish I knew one in person.

Yeah I mean, I could go to the literal zero effort of just saying I like other things, but this is more fun. I do like them, maybe I’m just a self-loathing stout enjoyer
