Not at all.
When Trump put tarriffs on China during his first term, apple wanted to circumvent them. So they still had their stuff built in china but they then sent them down to vietnam to effectively just package and label them so they could put a "made in vietnam" sticker on there.
It shows you where the last production step was taken, but a lot of companies abuse that system.
