From what I've observed, many accounts which were critiqued to the current Modi govt have been withheld in the country. Accounts of farmer leaders were also suspended amid the ongoing farmers protest in the country. It's worth noting that India will see the general elections this year around May.

Fucking despicable.

And if you think this is a just India thing, that Twitter is not trying to tip the scales toward fascists in your country's elections, you should think again. This is important to consider wherever you are.
